Terms of use
The short version: use Ripe to plan your days, keep your own backups, and email us if something goes wrong.
Who we are
Ripe is made by Ifedayo Olympicson ("we"). By downloading or using Ripe you agree to these terms. If you got Ripe from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies; if anything here conflicts with it, Apple's agreement wins for the iPhone app.
Using Ripe
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Ripe on devices you own or control. Please don't copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, or use it to break the law.
Your data
Your plans, journal and habits are stored on your device, not with us, so you're responsible for keeping backups with Export backup. If you lose your phone or delete the app without a backup, we can't recover them. How we handle the little data we do hold is set out in the privacy policy.
Accounts
An account is optional and only needed for Premium. Keep your password to yourself, and give an email address you can access, since it's how you'll restore Premium. You can delete your account at any time.
Premium
- Premium is sold through the App Store or Google Play as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The price is shown before you pay.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
- "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer Ripe and its Premium features.
Alarms
Ripe does its best to ring on time, but alarms depend on your phone, its settings and its operating system. Silent mode, Focus modes, battery saving or denied permissions can stop them. Please don't rely on Ripe for anything where a missed alarm could cause harm, such as medication or safety.
Changes and availability
We may update Ripe, change or remove features, or update these terms. If the terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use Ripe after that means you accept them.
No warranty
Ripe is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, from using Ripe. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Ripe in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
